OUR MISSION STATEMENT
"The mission and purpose of New Beginnings Church is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples, in all things bringing glory to God."
Our reach must be:
1. OUTWARD - We reach out to the lost by sharing the Good News (preach the Gospel). See Mk. 16:15; Lk. 19:10.
2. INWARD - We reach into the local Body of believers to equip, encourage and strengthen (make disciples). See Mt. 28:19; Eph. 4:11-13.
3. UPWARD - We reach upward to God in worship (bringing glory to God). See Eph. 3:21; Rev. 4:11.
Each reach may be experienced through the following church ministries:
1. OUTWARD - We reach out to the lost through various activities promoted through the church and the Evangelism Team, such as, Springfest, the Fall Festival, free car washes, neighborhood drama events, Friend's Day, nursing home visits, Angel Tree, among others. We teach that all Christians should have an evangelistic lifestyle. Our Missions Team leads the congregation in raising awareness and finances to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
2. INWARD - We reach inward to this local body of believers to make disciples through Sunday service preaching, Wednesday Night Bible Studies, a 15-week discipleship course for young believers, and regular fellowship events meant to foster and strengthen relationships. We also currently offer the Women's Group, Men's Group, Youth Group and SuperChurch to further develop the discipleship ministry. Finally, the Ministry Training School offers discipleship and leadership training on an advanced level.
3. UPWARD - We corporately reach upward to God in worship primarily through worship functions in Sunday and Wednesday services. We are encouraged to worship privately and publicly with such Biblical expressions as singing, playing instruments, dancing, lifting hands, clapping, shouting, bowing, etc. Beyond specific worship experiences, our entire life is meant to bring glory to God.
